Some of my friends tell me "if you really like fish & chips" this is the place to go! I think that before I take any family along I am going to try first, because I need to judge it for myself....Think thin and crispy batter on fish is high on my list as is not over cooked fish, 'beautify succulent is order of the day' also chip's that are beautify crispy and light in texture.... 'If it turns out as I have described I will be one happy bunny'.... I see from some people's photos they serve bake beans and/or mushy pies with fish & chips, well I'm afraid that is a no no in my book, though others may enjoy if they so choose!! As they say, 'each to their own'Looks smart, freshly painted & inviting from outside....Full review after I've found time to go here....
There's only one word for this place....AMAZING!!!!The food looked so good when it came out that we started tucking in before I remembered to take pictures.The only thing that could be improved on would be homemade tartare sauce instead of Heinz.
Quality food at fair prices. Portion sizes are huge. Wonderful location next to the sea with great views. Staff are talkative and friendly. Would recommend!
Very busy and friendly place. Served quickly, excellent food and plenty of highchairs for babies and toddlers. Highly recommended for anyone. We were lucky enough to get in without a reservation, but would recommend to reserve as 10 minutes later, the place was packed.
This is a good place for fish and chips. Great view, nice waitress. Good service. I had a lovely salmon salad. The portions are very generous too. Very good value for money.
