Carried out work which was not required and tried to cover it up. They lost the court case and I was awarded costs.
Had a dispute with C&C re damp in chimney breast.Ended up in County Court.Report by joint expert witness(qualified surveyor), stated that... a) it was not readily apparent that any of the estimated work had been actually carried out. b) The work was not necessary and did not resolve the problem. c) It would appear that C&C have tried to claim for work done which was not undertaken and have attempted to make it appear so by covering over the original mortar with fresh mortar. d) the company refused to inspect the work. They believed their employee. The judge endorsed the findings and ruled that none of the invoiced money was due.. IT APPEARS THAT A 5 STAR RATING HAS BEEN AWARDED TO C&C BY CRAIG RAE WHO JUST HAPPENS TO BE EMPLOYED BY THE COMPANY AND "WORKED ON MY ROOF".DISGUSTING

THE JUDGE ENDORSED THESE FINDINGS AND RULED THAT NONE OF THE INVOICED MONEY WAS DUE AND COSTS WERE AWARDED TO ME. I have since employed another builder who has completed the work to my satisfaction. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT CRAIG RAE WHO HAS GIVEN A 5 STAR RATING IS EMPLOYED BY C & C ROOFING AND OVERSAW THE WORK ON MY ROOF. WHAT A TERRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY.
