I'm more of the bike out doors or at home on more inclement days, same for running, I mean what lovely country side we have and you'd prefer to pay to stare at a wall?? Wife goes swimming here sometimes, but slowly she is getting the hang of colder & colder sea, which is good as it pushes your body to new extremes and makes you a darn sight fitter than swimming in a nice warm indoor pool....I do however realize not everyone wants to go outside and exercise... Therefore this place is right up your alley as parking is not a problem here, so you can go straight from your warm car to your warm Leisure Centre...
I recently posted a review of FLC which tended to show it in a less than flattering light (read: I slated it). This was intended to be about a local pub I entered on New Years Eve but somehow was attached to FLC's page. To put the record straight, I have been a member of the gym for almost 8 years and I visit 4 times each week. I love the place, the staff are friendly and the gym PTs unfailingly helpful and professional.
Good for a coffee if it's raining, nice and warm!
Needs a bit of a makeover, but good if you're in the area and fancy a swim in warmer waters
