Unspoilt woodland with walks throughout. The Grove is included in some booklets that should be available from the tourist information hut located upon the front near the pier which describes various walk's in the area.

They've raised pitch usage charges so sports clubs are no longer using. Lack of funds = failure to maintain. This will then be an excuse to sell off the recreation grounds to developers.
