I've been here with the darts team ages ago, and it was nice and busy...But as I found out the other night when the wife & myself went, it can be dead...I mean we were the only two customers there and only later did we have one other person turn up for a drink, I don't mind quite pubs but not dead one's...On the up side the beer is good and it's clean and tidy, though toilet could have been a little bit better, though I've seen far worse elsewhere...But this venue has no room for a pool table and is a nice place if like me you have a wife who tries to avoid pubs that do so she can spend the night with me and not an empty seat... (Coz I Love My Pool)
Great little bar with character. Good place to while away the time and watch a bit of the world go by or whilst waiting for a train or taxi. Coffee available. Does go quiet after some shift changes as previously mentioned.. Better if it was not for that gobshiite loud Irish eejit. Not all Irish have this persona
