This is a pub that I ment to go to years ago but never got round to it...So thought I'd give it a try with the wife...Looked nice from the outside and it didn't disappoint once we had entered the establishment...All the right beers are on tap like Guinness, Hobgoblin, Ghostship... Staff really helpful and pleasant to talk too... Nice customers who we spoke to... also very clean & tidy toilets...Expect to pay a little more for drinks, but it's worth every penny...My wife was even more happy with this place as I pointed out there was no pool table for me to disappear to for the next 3hrs or so, I on the other hand would have loved a game of pool but I suppose that type of thing sometimes attracts the wrong type of custom... Didn't have any food so can't comment on this aspect but I noticed they had about 4 or 5 dining tables that would take approx 4 to 6 per table.A very strong 4 out of 5 stars!!I do still feel that if I was eating I wouldn't be to happy with dogs being around, having just a drink I don't have a problem as long as there quite and well behaved!!
