Was quiet on the night we went but you can't predict the public, friendly staff and a good atmosphere, the DJ that was hired in I don't think will be asked back as they left a bit to be desired (this was an external company so not the fault of Copas as we did mention it to them!)
Great place to have a drink and great atmosphere
A very friendly bar, with a good atmosphere, plenty of live music and entertainment provided on a weekly basis. Well worth a visit. Prices are reasonable as well.
Used to go here before it got taken over. Arrived on a Friday night to be told that we were the first people who had been there all night. Their beer needed draining as it had been sitting in the pipe for too long - we found this out after being served the drink and trying it. They were very kind and provided a new drink and even offered to refund, but we asked them to keep the money. Lovely staff, just hope it picks up a bit more.
Under new ownership, a great place to hold events with a huge variety of things booked going forward, including comedy club, Salsa, Rockabilly, Glam Rock, Poker and much more.
