Update: I have to say that the food again is the biggest problem/letdown here and hopefully I had expected things to have been rectified but sadly no.....If the small and silly mistakes could be rectified it would be helpful...I say small and silly, what I should be saying is I had expected much better than this at these prices!!Beers always good here but food sometimes is unseasoned, cold, or just plain wrong...8 or so of us and we had one dish that had to be send back as it too hadn't been seasoned, and one that was cold...Otherwise the feel of the place and atmosphere is very nice...Staff very friendly, which is always good to know...

Went here for Sunday lunch, it comes highly recommended one of the best you will have. Recommend the beef.
As always a fab menu and beautiful plates turned out to order. However, service was not to usual jolly, helpful and courteous standard. Possible post NYE blues. Would never put us off returning, always a winner. Well done Fludyers
Have visited a few times. Couple of times for our anniversaries as Felixstowe is my home town. I'd be surprised if this isn't the best place you can eat in Felixstowe. Seriously high quality food, nice setting a view of sea. We've stayed over once. Room was decent and breakfast was top drawer. Would thoroughly recommend.
